JEANSWEST

Hi lovely people. I am so sorry for being a phantom. Unfortunately my beautiful grandmother passed away. It's been a tough time but it's nice to be back on Dusty Petals. Thanks for your patience.

Today I wanted to share with you a Jeanswest look including jeans from their new 'Best Jeans Ever Prima Collection.'  I have to tell you how incredibly comfortable they are! Check out the new collection here.

I have styled some Jeanswest looks for you below including Jo Mercer shoes, because I absolutely love their new range and I also selected some sunglasses from the very affordable and incredibly cool Quay Sunglasses.

Happy shopping!

Game...Set...Match!

Hi everyone! This time of the year I really appreciate being a Melbourne girl. We are so blessed to have the Australian Open. The positive vibe and relaxed energy throughout the 2 weeks is as good as a tropical holiday.

Since  I was a young girl I would get a ground pass on the first couple of days of the Open and enjoy the amazing weather while hopping between courts. I can still remember being introduced to a very young Rafael Nadal on court 13, he stood out like a sore thumb back then.

Today I wanted to share some fun looks to wear to the tennis. The Australian Open is a casual event, especially during the day. I suggest if you have a ground pass to wear something that doesn't leave too many awkward tan lines. I think it is nice to dress up a little for a night centre court match. I have styled some tennis looks below for both ground passes and night matches.  Remember, you can't leave the house without sunblock and sunglasses.

I have also selected some celebrities spotted in the crowd at both Wimbledon and the Australian Open. You will notice that the Wimbledon dress code is a lot more traditional than the Australian Open.

Eyelash Extensions at Lovelle Day Spa

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share with you my new eyelash extensions. I’ll be honest with you, I have been a bit of a sceptic  in the past when it came to eyelash extensions. I’ve seen many jobs that appear unnatural and tangled. It wasn’t until I saw two of my friends, I had to ask what was different about them? I loved that it wasn’t an obvious thing too. They were fresh and bright eyed in their appearance. That was when I turned. They introduced me to the amazing Lovelle Day Spa eyelash extensions.
At Lovelle Day Spa, your eyelash design is customized by using the best quality mink/silk eyelash extensions. They can vary in texture, length, colour and the degree of curvature. I love how natural my lashes appear whilst looking full in texture. I literally wake up, put my foundation on with a touch of bronzer and don’t even touch my eyes. I have a feeling I will be saving some pennies on mascara and eyeliner as I haven’t used them since my eyelash extensions.
Lovelle Day Spa offer a great reward program for all of their clients. If you recommend Lovelle Day Spa you and your friend will get $15.00 off their lashes.  However, Lovelle Day Spa is collaborating with Dusty Petals. Simply mention Dusty Petals and you will receive this offer.
For more information on Lovelle Day Spa including prices and other services check out their website here and Facebook page here.

I am wearing Sheinside dress and Jo Mercer sandals.
